For Sherblues, sustainable development is at the very heart of its mission. The festival is guided by a vision that is responsible, inclusive and rooted in its environment. It is based on a plan whose each action aims to reduce the impact, strengthen citizen participation, enhance local culture and support the economic vitality of the city center. Together, we are creating a festival that is good for the community as well as for the planet!

Responsible governance

Decisions are guided by transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Some actions put in place:

  • A three-year action plan with measurable indicators.
  • Specialized teams mobilized (layout, communications, communications, security, volunteers, etc.).
  • Addition of eco-responsible clauses in contracts (ban on single-use plastic, environmental instructions, etc.).

Environmental actions

The team focuses on responsible management of water, residual materials, energy, energy, infrastructure, natural environments, climate and sustainable transport.
