For over a decade Mon Doux Saigneur has been shaping music that is divided between folk and rock. Maintaining its creative pace, the band followed up on two critically acclaimed albums - Horizon (2020) and Fleur de l'Âge (2022) - by unveiling Du Soleil dans l'Oeil (November 15, 2024). With its soulful songs, this fourth album offers music that is as soft as it is poignant.
On stage, you will certainly recognize the incandescent fusion of the group. True to their habits, the songs are chosen according to the context but this time they use a more subdued sound where bass predominates. Putting forward the stories of Émerik St-Cyr Labbé built on a more RnB framework, Mon Doux Saigneur parachutes far beyond the “Americana” dream once presented. It is in a lively celebration that the group presents you with a new landscape in which nothing is foreign.

With a voice as hot as asphalt and as deep as falling trees, Tom Chicoine takes his country-rock to different horizons: solo, the intimacy of his lyrics is revealed, while in a power trio, the power and breadth of the arrangements dominate. Originally from the ranks of Montérégie, he is inspired by the Townes Van Zandt and Waylon Jennings to equip his music with folk, Americana and psych elements with a Quebec sensibility, going from the wood we log to the rivers that surround us and the bars where we gather. In 2021, he launched the EP The Vapors that make us move forward and, two years later, signed under Audiogram for the album Moteur super sport, praised by critics and nominated for the ADISQ Gala and GAMIQ. He returns in the fall of 2025 with Entertain, a new collection exploring the feeling of not being up to par and loneliness in the face of others as well as confidence and self-acceptance. The resulting show will be both intimate and exhilarating, with Tom Chicoine presenting pieces from his two albums in an upward direction — and it's also a good reason to come back and read the local newspaper to talk to you about local news between the tunes.
The Quebec duo Grand Eugène, composed of Melyssa Lemieux and Jeremy Lachance, works both in the urgency of creating and in the depths of memories that are difficult to tell. Their first album Two Places in the Cemetery testifies to an agile indie rock spirit that moves easily according to the mood, soft in its languor and fierce in its gaze.
Melyssa and Jeremy's paths are as intertwined as the threads of a ball of yarn, between CEGEP, Montreal apartments and the western part of the country. But when their joint project was born in 2023 with a first EP of the same name, the intention was clear: to offer an indie sound with a dreamlike charm, carried by the whispered voice of its singer and the fluffy arrangements of its main composer. Several of their songs, including “Celle-là” and “Danser”, quickly accumulated hundreds of thousands of listens on platforms, drawing the attention of music lovers on both sides of the Atlantic to the promising Quebec duo. In 2024, the duo presented a second microalbum, Les Vacances d'été, which they took to the roads of Quebec (FEQ, Francos, Santa Teresa, FME) and France, where they toured for five dates in addition to performing at the festivals Avec le Temps and Les Bars en Trans.
Two Places in the Cemetery marks the start of Grand Eugène's long game by showing an almost grunge evolution to their indie sound. The two artists reinterpret the register of love songs by flirting with kitsch, a certain touch of deadbeat humor sprinkled on their biting ballads. The album is the product of an unstoppable creative impulse, the models recorded between Saint-Hugues, Montreal, Paris and Jeremy's former van, sometimes on a table corner with nothing more than a computer microphone and a speaker. Like a flower on a headstone, their music grows everywhere, cheers up broken hearts and gives a lively air to the most ephemeral things.
Kelowna Rose is a singer-songwriter blending R&B, soul, and jazz, with a hushed and agile voice. Her music varies between catchy grooves and soul-touching moments, exploring themes such as emancipation, emotional healing, and social engagement. Her music is inspired by icons like Erykah Badu, Stevie Wonder, and Nina Simone, and is rooted in her belief that music can be a force for change. His love of soul artists of the 70s and 90s is reflected not only in his style, but also in the organic sound of his compositions. Kelowna embodies an old soul tinged with humor, gentleness and humanity.
Erika Hagen is set in the vast universe of rock-folk garage. His songs are both irreverent and intimate, carried by a daily poetic pen. The project is inspired by poets such as Patrice Desbiens, Riot Grrrls as well as indie-rock and folk artists such as Courtney Barnett and With no headphones.
Erika Hagen tells about the reliefs of the city. The characters who live there are brilliant, demanding, and complex women who often seek to flee. The project is an exploration of the parts of us that miss the mark, that are out of the ordinary, that are unacceptable to us, but that nevertheless seek to be heard.
Guillaume Gilbert has not stopped working on the guitar for 30 years now. An electric guitar teacher at Cégep de Sherbrooke and Bishop's University, he is also pursuing a career as a freelancer, performer and composer.

Suite à la parution d’un premier album, medium plaisir (2022), Ariane s’est fait un nom en brûlant les planches des quatre coins du Québec avec un spectacle bouillant, mettant en évidence les fulgurances qui la portent depuis ses tout débuts. L’autrice-compositrice-interprète nous revient désormais avec Dogue, un deuxième album qui tranche avec ce qu’elle nous avait habitué. Coréalisé avec Félix Petit (Hubert Lenoir, Les Louanges, Bonnie Banane), Dogue montre les dents, oui pour sourire, mais aux dépens de qui ? Peu nous importe puisque l’on ne peut résister à se coucher devant les crocs, espérant se joindre à la meute.
Le propre d’un show rock, c’est de pas être propre per se : c’est cet aspect brut qui faitressentir des émotions qui le sont tout autant - et ça, Bon Enfant le sait etl’applique grandement. Pas de costumes, pas de mise en scène - juste du vraimonde qui te raconte ses vraies affaires. C’est aussi l’imprévu, le danger, lanouveauté : v’là tu pas qu’avec eux autres t’auras jamais le même set 2 fois,puisé différemment à chaque soir dans un catalogue de 3 capables albums pourconstruire quelque chose d’unique - quelque chose dont le public fait partie.Des personnalités fortes qui s’enchevêtrent plutôt que s’entrechoquent, deslignes de basse, des riffs de guitare, des punchs de cymbales pis des racks àclaviers à pu finir, le tout mené par la chaude voix de Daphné Brissette.
